If the implant is new to you (that means 6 months or less) and the side effects are bearable, you may want to give it a little more time as hormone levels will start to level off, so those hormonal side effects tend to go away.

If you’re not happy with you implant, even if it’s been less than 6 months, you can switch to a different method of birth control. Consider trying a method, such as the pill, patch, or ring. You could also try either IUD.
