Frisky Friday Top 5: Favorite sex scenes in film

Tis the season for packed theaters, buckets of popcorn, and huge Hollywood expectations. Are you ready for all the big holiday films? We can’t wait, so we’ve decided to kick things off Bedsider-style. For a warm up we did movie kisses. Now for something a bit more adult—and NSFW—here are five onscreen sex scenes we love.

1. Atonement
Pent up sexual tension finally overtakes them. In the library. Up against the bookshelves. The green dress up around her hips and the pause when they profess their love. It’s the moment that dooms them, but it’s the moment that does it for us.

2. No Strings Attached
There were two friends-with-benefits movies out at the same time. We liked both, but this one wins for the condom use during this very hot scene between Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher.

3. Bridesmaids
Okay, so it’s not exactly the sexiest sex scene, but Kristen Wiig and Jon Hamm make it spit-out-your-latte funny. (The outtakes are even funnier.)

4. Y Tu Mamá También
If you haven’t seen it, watch it. Not just for the caliente sex—and famous threesome—but also for the story.

5. Cloud Atlas
It made best and worst film lists. You probably didn’t even see it. But this one particular sex scene between Doona Bae and Jim Sturgess made it onto a list of 2012’s most paused movie moments for good reason.
