Biftu Mengesha, MD, is a family planning fellow and clinical instructor at the University of California, San Francisco, and the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. She’s interested in birth control and counseling for medically complex patients, including women who are obese or have had bariatric surgery. She’s also passionate about ending health disparities and improving medical education.
